Falling into the Generation Gap II

Continuing our series of comics illustrating the pitfalls and opportunities of intergenerational communication. Use them to start a conversation with someone in another generation!

How often and what ways do you keep in contact with those who are closest to you?

When something exciting and important in your life happens, how do your share that with your family and friends? (If you are over 40, how did you do that when you were younger? How, if it has, has this changed?)

Can you actually do two things at once? What happens when you do this? How well do you listen/ pay attention while texting, etc.?

How can you tell if someone is ignoring you? not listening? How does it feel to be ignored or not listened to?

What are some of the advantages and disadvantages of face-to-face conversation over email, texting, etc…for you?
